I've wanted to have my own cut on the internet for a while. The idea first sprang to my mind around 2022 back when I discovered neocities was a thing. The same day, I tried to understand HTML but it just wasn't clicking with me at all, I couldn't understand where to start and stuff. So I ignored it for a while. Then 2 years later, I found out rentry was a thing and making stuff there is really REALLY easy. It just felt right. And I did have a corner there for a while, but now, if you get there, it'll be closed. I had already known about nekoweb since 2023 but to me it used to feel the same as neocities, so I also ignored it for a while. That was until nov. 2024: I noticed that 2 of my online friends were in the progress of making their own pages here, and that motivated me. If they're making super cool shit, then what's stopping me from making MY OWN super cool shit myself, y'know?
When it comes to the experience however, part of it has been exciting! I've been visiting some sites here recently and they've been of really huge inspiration, and I like talking to people through their atabooks whenever I can too, it's fun. While, like I said, part of it has been exciting, please note that part of it has also been hella demotivating. I mean, look at my site. It looks barebones and disgusting. I mentioned looking thru other people's websites for inspiration, and while, sure, they all motivate me to keep going, part of it also tells me that I'll probably never get there and I don't know why. I think it would be best for me not to elaborate a lot because I'll be rambling about it for like 32763e+42 paragraphs so, for now, I hope you still like the website despite it's gross state of wip. TYSM FOR READING THIS! U^ ^U
Recesses feel weird lately like what am I supposed to do
